2017 is looking good. The Board has reserved the Vet’s Hall Tent the first Sunday of the month.
Here is what is planned for the year. Mark your calendars:

Making your own Journal or Sketchbook
March 5, 2017, 1PM to 4PM, in THE TENT.
With Jo Swanberg and Diane Miller ---- FREE
Jo Swanberg and Diane Miller will lead you through the steps of bookmaking. We will provide kits with all the materials you need. If you would like, you may provide your own fabric or paper for the cover to personalize it. Otherwise, fabric and end papers will be available. You should bring a pair of scissors for cutting the thread and fabric and a 6" ruler for measuring and to smooth the glued paper. The books will be 8” x 6” or smaller, the perfect size for discrete drawing or journaling in public. Each book will be unique in size and cover design. If you know you are coming, call Jo 234-1754 so she will be sure to have enough book kits for everyone.

The Cayucos Art Association will hold a members only Art Sale in THE TENT, April 2, 2017 from 10AM to 4PM. Fee $25. You will be assigned an 8’ x 10’ space with a table and chair. You may begin set up at 8AM and you must be ready for customers at 10AM. You will be responsible for your set-up, sales and cash handling with tax permit.
You are required to have a sales tax permit number from the State Board of Equalization. There is no fee for the sales tax permit. You can get it on line at http://www.boe.ca.gov/. Or contact the Board of Equalization, 950 E. Blanco Road Suite 202,Salinas, CA 93901, phone--1-831-754-4500, Registration Fax: 1-831- 755-7921. If you don’t have one now, you can ask for a temporary Sales tax permit.
